New Home Reveal: The Learning Room

This past week, I finally put the finishing touches on what I like to call our "Learning Room".  It is a small room between the living room and kitchen.  It is considered to be a formal dining room. It has carpet in it.  I lived with carpet under the table for 4 years and I am SO done with that.  I decided to turn it into a learning room for the kids.  I am not one for playrooms because I figure my kids have bedrooms to play in and really don't need another room.  This room is more for a place to do homework, play games, and is perfect for me to sit and work with the boys.  I recently joined Pinterest and it has pinned my interest for sure!  I took two ideas from there and used them for this room.  I am proud of how it turned out.  I especially love how it coordinates with the living room and kitchen but still has a childish theme to it.

This wall is from Pinterest.  I love it because it was very easy and inexpensive to do plus, it is a really cute way to let the kiddos show off their work from school.
This was another Pinterest idea.  In the original they just hung the alphabet on the wall.  I decided to hang them across my windows to act as curtains for the room.  I LOVE these prints and think it adds the perfect touch to the room.

These prints are from the same website the alphabet were on.  I love, love, love them!
