Heavenly Hat

Today, Kaia's school had their 3rd Annual Heavenly Hat Parade.  The students had the opportunity to wear their favorite hats and donate $1 to the Heavenly Hat Foundation.  This group provides hats to individuals and to hospitals for patients who have lost their hair due to disease and/or medical treatments. She wanted to wear Daddy's Saints hat (or as she calls it: the Drew Brees hat).  It was also spirit day so everyone was encourage to wear black and gold. (their school colors)  The kids marched outside to the bulldogs fight song.  The kids had fun and thought it was pretty cool to take a break from school work.

Her class filled up the gumball jar for all of their good deeds and behavior.  They had a tea party that day with chocolate frosted cupcakes.  I love her chocolaty face.
