HalloWONDERFUL Day!

Halloween was so wonderful this year!  I really do enjoy this holiday.  Kaia was really excited for it and wanted to be nothing more than Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl!  I LOVED this idea.  Gabriel and Gatlin could care less about how they are dressed so we went with another themed year.  Gabriel was going to be Buzz Lightyear and Gatlin was going to be Sheriff Woody.  I thoroughly enjoyed making their costumes this year.  I have to say that working with felt and fabric glue is so fun and easy. I will have to remember that for future costumes. My mom already had the cow fabric so she whipped up the chaps and vest for me.  She is amazing and we love her.  The kids got a TON of candy.  Kaia cracked me up tonight because she kept asking me very hesitantly if she could have a piece of candy.  Every time I would say, "Yes, sure you can have another piece."  Then she would say to herself, "Oh yeah, sure it's ok I can have another." It was too cute.  She also told said that tonight was the best Halloween day ever!  I love my girl.  Gabriel and Gatlin were not shy at all.  They would run right up to the houses and help themselves to picking out their own piece of candy.  At one house Gabriel took a piece from his bag, put it into the person's bowl, and picked out a different piece.  It was so funny.  Those two will do anything for food! Tonight was a great.  Matt was even able to make it home to enjoy it with us.

Today was also the 50th day of school for the kiddos.  The boy's teachers asked that we dress them up like they were from the 1950s.  Here was the best I could come up with.  I really wished that I had some tighter jeans and leather jackets for them though.  Maybe next year for Halloween.
