Halfway There!

For the past week I have been working with Gatlin on potty training. I have to mention that, so far, I have trained both Kaia and Gatlin to go #2 first and then we work on going #1. I do that because, for some reason, all of my children like to hold it in. When I notice that they are doing that I rush and put them on the toilet and they go. It seems to work for us so I can't complain. Today, was the first day that Gatlin didn't scream the whole time he was on the toilet. We are making progress. Yesterday, I keep telling him "Yay, you did it!" I gave him his candy and he looked at me and said, "I did it!" Ah! He said his first phrase! I figure I will attempt to teach him how to go #1 next week. I want him to be able to sit on the toilet without screaming. Hopefully, he will be ready. Either way, I am proud of this sweet boy and just wanted to take some time to brag.

That is very cool. I also potty trained Joss this way. She was #2 trained for three months and then I brought on #1 without any problems. It was awesome! Good Luck!!
