Gabriel Says-WHAT?!
You read that title right, our big bubba has found his voice. He still needs verbal prompts to remind him but every now and then he will say things without any help. I decided that I had better start blogging some of those tender moments.
One of my favorite things that he does is when I ask him if he is ok he will get right in my face and say, "You ok, you ok?"
One Sunday at church Matt and I were walking around looking for someone before taking Gabriel to class. It took us a couple of trips around the church until we found who we were looking for. When we finally stopped Gabriel looked up at me and said, "Where going?"
One night when the boys were suppose to be going to sleep they kept getting up to jump on their trampoline. I kept going in there to remind them to go to sleep. On about the 10th time, I opened the door and Gabriel ran to his bed and said, "Go to sleep!"
I was cutting the boy's hair one evening out in the garage. A car passed by and Gabriel said, "There's Daddy." Unfortunately, it wasn't Daddy.
When the bus came for school Gabriel saw if from the window and said, "There it is!"
Now, at the end of each prayer he will say, "Amen"
This is huge progress for him. I just hope that he will continue to break down the language barriers that he has. We are so proud of him and sure love hearing his sweet little voice!
