My little girl sets a BIG example.

After our snack on Wednesday  I pulled out the coloring books and CD player.   We have been focusing a lot on helping the boys improve their fine motor skills.  Kaia never argues when it comes to coloring or art so she was a big help in encouraging the boys to color their pictures.   Gatlin needed to use the restroom so I left to take him.  When we returned, we saw this...
Kaia looked up and said, "Look Mommy, I am helping him write his letters! Come on Gabriel say, S".
 "S," Gabriel answers.
This picture is my favorite.  She sure knows how to keep these boys in line.

I have to take a minute and talk about my Kaia girl.  It seems since she has turned 6 that she matured over night.  She is and has always been a sweet girl.  I have just noticed such a change in her these last couple of weeks.  She is finally starting to listen to us and will often answer me with a "yes ma'am" or an "ok, mommy."  She plays really well with her brothers and is probably the biggest contributor to Gabriel's new found speech.  She is great at reminding me of things and asks me everyday how I am feeling and if my day was good.  She also reminds me to choose the right (when she says this she will sign C, T, and R.  Sign language is big in our house.)  She is such an example to me and keeps me in line as well.  I love this girl to pieces and will forever be grateful that our Heavenly Father blessed us by having her be a big part in our family.  Gabriel and Gatlin are so lucky to have a smart, loving, playful, and funny big sister.  I am grateful to have witnessed this tender moment.  I hope to see many more.

Big sisters are a blessing. I know Andrew and Sean have learned more from Kira then I could ever teach them.
