Summer Days Driftin' Away

September is here, the kiddos are in school, and the summer has come to an end. This summer was a busy one for us.  We have had a lot of visitors.  I decided that I had better hurry and catch up on my blog before the holidays get here.  In July our first group of visitors came: my parents, brother, his wife, and their kiddos came so we took a trip to Hurricane Harbor.

I LOVE being an Auntie!  Evan, Emy, and I reading books.

This little guy was in heaven!

Gabriel was a prune by the end of the day.

A few weeks ago, Nathan (Matt's brother), his wife, Jill, and their son, Drew came to visit us for the weekend.  We decided to head to a small children's museum.  The kiddos enjoyed themselves and I am pretty sure the adults did too.  We played for a few hours and enjoyed some pizza for lunch.  Later that day, Jill and I were able to slip away and go shopping kid-free.  It was a great visit.  It is so nice being close to family again.  We have missed seeing everyone.   I love watching my kids interact with their cousins.

This train was a hit!  Here is Drew taking his turn.

Gatlin decided to give Gabriel a ride.

Gatlin traded in his usual string or ribbon for a snake.
