Kaia had an ear infection this past Friday. Gabriel woke up with a fever on Sunday. Gatlin woke up with a fever today. Matt is gone. Yeah, I decided that we should probably take it easy this Labor Day. My day started off a little crazy. I woke up to find that Gatlin had gotten into his Vaseline and smeared it all over his room, his body, his brother's shirt, and his hair. Needless to say, I gave everyone a bath this morning. Gatlin had a couple of baths.
I washed his hair about 6 times with Dawn dish soap (a tip my friend gave me when Kaia smeared body cream all over herself and her hair.) and the vaseline is still not completely out. For fear that I was rubbing his head raw, I decided we will continue the washing process tomorrow. He didn't seem to mind since he LOVES taking a bath. After everyone was cleaned up and somewhat ready for the day, we decided to watch Mary Poppins and have a picnic in the living room.
Kaia LOVED the movie and so did I. Everyone went to bed early tonight and it looks like we will be going back to the doctor's office tomorrow.

what a fun mom, my gatlin is getting so thin. i love how kaia is right in the middle and of course gabriel is all about the food
Oh, the vaseline. Andrew did that once when he was a toddler. What a pain to clean.

My friend said you can use Goo Be Gone in hair. Just a thought. :)
Yuck, vaseline. I love movie picnics. They are a must have every time daddy is out of town.
