Just like his daddy.

Monday was a really pretty day here. There was still snow on the ground, it was pretty chilly, but the sun was out! So it was a pretty good day considering our weekend. Friday night Gatlin was throwing up and woke up Saturday still not feeling very well. Then early Sunday morning (1:30 to be exact) Kaia woke up with the chills and a fever. So my hopes were high for Monday being a good day...and it was. The post is mostly going to be about Gabriel just because he was the only one feeling 100% and I thought it would be fun to focuse on one child for a day. Gabriel is a lot like Matt in many ways. He looks just like him, and he acts a lot like him. He is quiet, content, very sensitive, loves to snuggle, and likes to be left alone. I find him a lot of the time in the corner playing with whatever is around him. A lot of these characteristics are very similar to Matt. The funny thing about Gabriel is he LOVES to eat...just like his daddy. During lunch on Monday, I made each child a plate of food and then went to make myself some lunch. I was sitting in the livingroom eating when I noticed Gabriel was finished eating. I cleaned him up, took him out of his chair and he started crying. He kept reaching for Kaia's plate of food. She was finished so I sat him down in her chair and let him eat. Gatlin was taking a nap that day because he still didn't feel good. I went to get him so he could eat. Gatlin ate almost everything. Gabriel was still sitting at the table. As soon as Gatlin was gone he reached over and ate the rest of his food! Yes, the boy cleaned everyone's plate! He is very much like his daddy. Just so you know I made each child a whole peanut butter sandwich, a handful of Goldfish, and some apple slices. I'm guessing Gabriel had two whole sandwiches (Kaia didn't eat hers) a handful of Goldfish, his apple slices, and the rest of Gatlin's sandwich. Hopefully he is just growing or he was really hungry that day. Because at this rate he is going to be eating us out of house and home by the time he is a teenager.
Here is my very full boy with 3 empty plates. You just can't help but love him!
