Terrific Thursday at the Library: The Wild and Wacky Science Show

This summer we went to the library a lot.  They had a whole summer program full of exciting things to do.  First thing, I signed the girl's up for the summer reading program.  My Kaia LOVES ( and I really mean LOVES) to read!  This was totally up her ally.  On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays they had story time and a craft.  Then, each Thursday they had a special quest come and visit.  Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of them at storytime.  ( I didn't want to be disruptive)  The girls seemed to enjoy themselves when we went.  I did get some pictures from the Terrific Thursday events though.   The first on we went to was the Wild and Wacky Science show with Professor Brainius.  This guy and his two assistants were wild for sure.  They showed the children a couple of at home experiments that they could do and then they called up volunteers to help mix chemicals X and Y together.  The result?  Green styrofoam.  It was great.   At the end of the performance they had a song that everyone stood up to sing.
