Kaia and the Chipmunks
This past week, Matt has been off. When Matt is off, I am off. I got up Thursday morning and got the boys off to school, fed Kaia, hung out with her, then, I decided to go lay back in bed with Matt. I left Kaia watching Alvin and the Chipmunks downstairs. I dozed off for about 30 minutes and went to check on her. She had dumped an entire box of cereal out onto the living room floor and the kitchen table. I looked at her and said, "Kaia, come on you are almost 5 years old. You know better than to make messes like this. If you wanted more cereal you should have just asked mommy for some." She looked at me and said, "But mommy, I am a chipmunk."
*sigh* dang movies...

Too funny! Kids always have an excuse for why they make messes and then they are so cute you don't want to get onto them. :)
Well, my five year old has the BIGGEST crush ever on Alvin. She has dreams they are married and have little baby chipmunks, and every time she sees him she tilts her head and sighs. Sometimes i would prefer the chipmunk mess over the chipmunk crush!!
Ha ha ha! I was so waiting for something like that with Libby after that movie. Oh Kaia you are cute!
Just go back to bed. The mess will still be there unless you put on Enchanted...
