When the Good Turns Naughty
Alright, I have often bragged about how wonderful Gabriel is. He is my laid back, tenderhearted, chill, happy-go-lucky, squishy, cuddle bug. We named him after the Angel Gabriel. He has always lived up to his name...until the last couple of weeks. The other day I got out of the shower and found the baby gate (it was blocking the stairs) kicked down. Oh no, they have escaped. I quickly got dressed, ran downstairs, and found Gabriel standing on the counter distributing licorice to a waiting Kaia and Gatlin. He had a mouthful and both hands full. Really? It was like a dang Mardi Gras parade minus the beads. I got him down and hide all the candy in our back room and locked the door. I figured that would solve the "constant climbing on the counter to get food" phase. No, it didn't. The other day I got out of the shower, found the baby gate kicked down, and Gabriel was once again on the counter. This time he helped himself to an apple that was in the hanging basket I got specifically to keep the kids out of my fruit. (The little stinker) This time, I decided to grab the camera. Plus, I wanted evidence to show Matt that Gabriel has in fact begun to turn on us. Gabriel has him wrapped and most of the time can do no wrong.

When Matt got home that night, I showed him the pics. I said, "Look at what your son did again today." His response, "Well, at least he is eating something healthy this time." *sigh* I give up.

LOL - that's exactly what I said! It could have been much worse than an apple...!! :)
How's he getting on the counter? I thought you tied the chairs to the table! I love his expressions in the pictures!
Maybe you should feed him more? ha ha. j/k.
I was thinking the same thing as Matt!!:) He was just trying to make a healthy choice! Too Funny!
