How lucky are we? Yesterday we got to go to the park again. (Two days of park fun in a row! You can see that I don't get out much. LOL) Only this time we made our way to Strongsville. The day before a lady told us about their library. She said that it was pretty big and had a fun kiddie place with tons of books and fun indoor activities. Also, there was a park right next to it. We felt a little adventurous and decided to give it a try. So Saturday morning we woke up got ready and went. She was right the library was big and the children's area was nice. There was a playhouse, blocks, puppets, and few other things. As Kaia was playing I started looking for books. (For those of you who don't know Kaia very well, she has had a love for books since she was about 8 months old.) So she was in her element. She is still a little rough for paper pages so I stuck with the board books and I stumbled upon two "Charlie and Lola" books!!! YAY That is like her favorite show. I have never seen that series of books in the board pages. So I was so excited and so was she. I then found two "SkippyJon Jones" books, of course a "Blue's Clues" (another favorite show) and a book called "Picture This". We were set to go and after checking out it was time for the park. We couldn't believe it another castle park! It was not as big as the one by our house but it was really nice and tons of fun! We will definitely have to venture out that way again. We have really loved having our Daddy home more . That night after dinner and bathes I read to Kaia over and over. She even had to go to bed with one of her books! LOL She is so funny. Most kids want blankets or teddy bears not mine she wants a "ba-book". What can I say she is very unique, in a very good way.
Today was such an awesome day. I actually made it to bed early and woke up feeling great. So before church I thought it would be fun to make blueberry pancakes. YUMMY. They were good. Matt had to give a talk so of course we had to be on time...and we were! We were actually ready a little early. So I thought it would be fun to read to Kaia some more. She was getting so excited I asked Matt to take some pics. She really loves her new books. Matt and I decided it would probably be a good idea to go to the library weekly. It's fun to be able to do more things with her now that she is getting older. What a great end to this week with an even greater beginning for the upcoming one!

My family went to the library all the time growing up. Me and my brothers loved getting new books to read. The strongsville one is nice. This post is a great reminder that I actually need to return some books.
