Parks, Playing, and Pigtails

Since living here I have realized how bad the weather effects my mood and my energy level. If I don't see the sun then I don't accomplish a thing and feel very lazy. If the sun is out I can move mountains and am non-stop like the energizer bunny. Well today the weather was absolutely perfect! So I was ready to roll! The sun was shining, there was not a cloud in the sky, and there was even a gentle breeze. Matt had a short day at school and promised that we would go to the park. So I got everyone ready and everything packed up so when he walked through the door we could go. We decided to go out for lunch at Burger King, where we ate way too much, and then we were off to the infamous castle park. It was nice having Matt with me because we could split up and take turns chasing Kaia and playing with her. I had Gatlin and Gabriel duty first. We decided to swing. On an earlier visit to the park I realized that I could put both boys in one swing oh yes very convenient for a mommy of twins. The whole time I just hope that they didn't exceed the weight limit. They are about 50 pounds combined! Seriously, they had a BLAST! Here is Gabriel showing just how much fun he had: And my cute little Gatlin, this boy is so full of emotion and is never afraid to show it ! Here he is loving the wind in his face:They had so much fun! Then, it was my turn to hang out with my bestest buddy Kaia. She was cute today all she wanted to do was run and observe all the other children playing. I knew we were going to be outside and it would be hot so I attempted some pigtails. And her hair was actually long enough! They looked a lot better this morning, but I still think that she looked adorable! Although it does makes me sad because she is growing up way too fast! So after a couple of hours of running around and having too much fun we decided to head home and call it a day. And what a day it was! We love spending time together and we especially love getting out and exploring. So here's to a day full of parks, playing and pigtails!

Your boys look so much older! That is cute that they still fit in a swing together!
