So Proud!

Today was a big day in our household, Kaia gave her very first talk in Primary (that is the children's organization at our church).  She was so excited.  I received the e-mail last Sunday and began to prepare her for it.  Kaia doesn't like surprise, so I wanted to make sure that she was well aware.  She is really into the calendar and specific dates right now.  I showed her which day on the calendar, so this whole week she has been reminding me that on January 8th she gets to give a talk in primary!  The theme for this year is: "Choose the Right".  We decided to share the story of Jonah and the whale.  When it was her turn she got up from her chair, blushed, looked at me, and together we walked up to the podium.  She did such a wonderful job!  She only needed my help with a few of the words.  After it was all over, I gave her a hug and told her how amazing she was.  Then, she ran and gave her Daddy a big hug.  She told us goodbye and went back to join her class.  When did she grow up so fast?  I am so proud of my girl.
