The kitchen is probably my second favorite room in the house. It is A LOT bigger than my last kitchen and everything just looks so nice, new, and clean. We haven't painted the walls in any part of the house just yet. The builder's paint is very neutral so we have decided to stick with it until we have a little extra money (and time) to paint. It isn't my favorite color and a little too "peachy" for me but it works for now. Anyways, here are some before and after pictures.

So, my mom and I found this adorable wall hanger at Hobby Lobby for $5 and just had to do something with it. My mom, being the creative person that she is, came up with this adorable idea! We made ties to represent the boys in our family and the necklaces to represent me and Kaia girl! I LOVE it!
This pantry is HUGE! Yes, we were able to fit a deep freezer in there. It is practically an extra room. It is going to take me forever to fill it up...as you can tell it is very bare.

So, where do I begin? I'm in love! I love all of the decorations, they are so bright and welcoming! The tie/necklace idea is adorable. Your appliances are beautiful and I think you have the perfect amount of space. I'm so jealous of your pantry. One more thing---thank you for the detailed post. I hope you do each room this way.
Love it! I want that extra counter space so bad...totally jealous over here! It must be so nice to be settled in a HOUSE that is YOURS! One day...one day! In the mean time, I'm so happy for yall and when we come to Dallas next to visit Mike's aunt, we will give yall a call ;) LOVE IT! very cute and those colors are great!
