Easter Sunday is always a wonderful time to reflect upon our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I look forward to going to church, hearing the special musical numbers, and listening to the speakers reflect upon the resurrection. It is a wonderful holiday and I so grateful to be able to celebrate it. We were all dressed up and matching for church but the lovely rain dampened our chances for a picture. (When the weather clears up, I am going to at least get some pics of the kids.) This year, we started a new tradition. My friend posted on her blog about how they make resurrection rolls every Easter. I had never heard of them and thought the idea was a perfect way to explain the resurrection of Christ to little ones. They are SO yummy and fun for children to help make.
Waiting to make some rolls! Kaia was so excited! Gabriel was more interested in his hands Gatlin saw me rolling out the dough and knew that bread was involved. He ran straight for his chair. He is our little carbo-holic.

(Matt approved! I am pretty sure we all ate about 3 each. We will definitely keep this tradition up.)

So glad you enjoyed resurrection rolls! We love em--and they're SO tasty, huh?!?!
Mmm. Those rolls are yum. I love the choc too
Oh I like that idea! And can the kiddos be any cuter? I don't think so.
Cute idea on the rolls! I will have to remember them for next year. Yum! Reeces-pieces! I purposely didn't buy the kids reeces this year because I knew I would eat them all! :)
