Being Thankful For Everyday.

I decided, since it is already November and we celebrate Thanksgiving at the end of the month, that I should write what I am thankful for everyday. I am already a week behind but I have a good memory and am going to catch up. I will start with today.

Monday November 8, 2010.- Today, I am thankful for the library. Kaia and I spent an hour together there today. We got some great new Olivia books and I have been reading them to her all day!

Sunday November 7, 2010- Today, I am very grateful for patience. It is that time at church to start transitioning the 3 year olds from nursery to primary. I feel it is important and I want Gabriel and Gatlin to attend primary. I know it won't be an easy task but I am willing to take the time to teach them how to sit still and pay attention. Next, I am thankful for the love and support of my friends at church. The primary president and the sunbeam teacher are also on board to help with the boys and their transition. I am very thankful for them. Last, I am so grateful for Kaia's imagination and for the hour and half of playing that we did tonight. My children are wonderful!

Saturday November 6, 2010- Today, I am grateful that I have D.V.R. I LOVE football and my beloved LSU Tigers were playing at 3:30 today. I was able to tape the game and pause it while getting the kiddos to bed. I am also thankful that LSU beat Alabama tonight...it was a sweet, sweet victory!

Friday November 5, 2010- Today, I am thankful for pajamas, cold weather, and the fact that I am my own boss. The kiddos didn't have school so we stayed home in our PJs, played, watched movies, and snuggled. Yep, it was one of those days.

Thursday November 4, 2010- Today, I am grateful for the phone call I got from preschool today. Gabriel was more tired than usual and had a bit of a rash. It was nothing to be concerned about just a little diaper rash and Gatlin woke him up really early that morning so he was a little sleepy. I am thankful for the time I got to spend with just him one on one. I love that boy!

Wednesday November 3, 2010- Today, I am thankful for Gatlin's smile. He is quite the mama's boy. He doesn't use words to talk but I sure know what he is saying with the adorable expressions he has.

Tuesday November 2, 2010- Today, I am grateful that Dr. Holan, the boy's development pediatrician, said that the boys have made great progress and that we seem to be doing the right things! My sweet boys are making great strides.

Monday November 1, 2010- Today, I am thankful that Kaia really loves the dress I made her for Halloween. I spent a lot of time on it and even shed a few tears of frustration. She has been prancing around the house in it for the past few days. Since she loves it so much, I decided that maybe I won't give up on sewing. Thank you Kaia for teaching me that hard work pays off. I love my baby girl.
