Prehistoric Technology

I have several things that I want to blog about but I can't upload my pictures because my hubby has left me with our very old, hand-me-down, desktop computer. It is so old that it doesn't have a slot for my SD card. Oh well, I can just write about it. This morning Kaia was so kind as to wake me and everyone else up at a lovely 5:00 a.m. Instead of going back to bed, we had an early morning slumber party.

Tuesday, we made a trip to Target. We can never go to that store without weaving our way through the $1 section. I stumbled upon a bin full of kid's sunglasses. Gabriel has shown an interest in glasses here lately (he has broken mine 3 times) so I decided to pick up a pair for him. I put them on his face and wasn't prepared for his reaction. He sat back, grinned, and began looking around like he was hot stuff. It was so cute! Needless to say, he LOVES his new glasses.
We meet with our Developmental Specialist on Tuesday and had the best sessions yet. The boys were really engaging in play, they were making great eye contact, Gatlin said "uh-oh" when he dropped his cup, Gabriel and I took turns wearing his new sunglasses. He thought it was the funniest thing when I would put them on. Gatlin and Mrs. Cindy had a lot of fun playing with Thomas the Train. It was the best session we have had in the 3 months that Mrs. Cindy has been working with us. Things are looking up. =c)

They make a usb stick, that has a slot on the side for a Camera SD memory card. Basically just like a usb memory flash drive but with slots for a camera card. So you put the camera card in the usb stick then put the stick into your usb port on your computer and it bypasses having to have a card slot on your computer. They are only like $15. I have to use one to download my pics because I have an prehistoric computer also! LOL :)

Glad you got the pics uploaded. Super cute! Kaia's hair is so long. She's so adorable!
