Another Year Down, Eternity To Go.
Today, Matt and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. Keeping up with our tradition, this year our gift needed to be something from wood. Hmm, that was a tough one. We decided to keep it simple and treat ourselves out to some Sakura Japanese food that we would have to eat with wooden chopsticks.
We decided that could count as our gift to eat other. The food was amazing. We finished the night with some ice cream sundaes and rented Avatar which I fell asleep during. Poor Matt, I can never make it through movies. The past 5 years have been extremely busy and at times really tough but we have survived and grown stronger. We have made some unforgettable memories and have accomplished some great things. It's a comfort to know that we will be together forever because I just don't think that I will ever get enough of this wonderful life that we are making.

Congrats! I love how you guys stick with the anniversary traditional gifts each year!
Oh and I rarely make it through a whole movie too!
Yay! We celebrated 5 years in March, it seems so REAL now that it's been 5 years, you know what I mean? We could not think of anything for wood either. We want wood floors but we like carpet for Wyatt's feet (and for when future babies learn how to walk). We ended up buying this big frame thing from Kirkland's.
So fun! I miss you guys and your kids! They all seem to be growing up so fast! Hope the externships are going good!
