Cedar Point or BUST!

Since Matt had school this past week my parents weren't able to spend much time with him. My birthday is next week and Matt's is in a couple of months so my parents wanted to do something fun for us. They offered to treat us out to a fun day at Cedar Point (a HUGE amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio). It is about an hour drive from our house so we left about 8:30. We decided to rent park strollers because our stroller is too heavy and a pain to push. So we rented two doubles. My mom is afraid of heights and doesn't ride too many roller coasters but she still loves to go hang out at the parks. So she had baby duty most of the day. She had so much fun. Her and the kids just walked around and people watched. We brought tons of food and drinks so they were set to go. Matt, my dad, and I rode some pretty intense rides. (The Millennium Force, The Raptor, Top Thrill Dragster, and The Mantis just to name a few). Then we took Kaia over to Snoopyland and rode a couple of ride with her. She got to meet Snoopy and really loved him. She cried when we left and was so upset that I had to sit in the stroller with her just to calm her down. (Yeah Matt got a huge kick out of taking this pic). People were laughing and pointing at me now as my dad was pushing us all over the park, but I didn't care she was happy and I got to get off of my feet for a little while. We rode a few more rides and decided to end the day with a family ride on the Cedar Point and Lake Eerie Railroad. (This is Gabriel with my parents while we waited for the train). It took us around the whole park. It was so relaxing and fun. On our way out we stopped at a Snoopy gift shop and they had this little play place so we let Kaia run around and pose with all the different Peanuts characters. We had such a fun long day (we were there from 10:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m.) and we are already planning another trip to go back. It was a beautiful day to go the weather was great! It was not too hot and not too cold, just perfect! And our kids had a blast. There is a lot for them to do and see. But I think that Kaia was enjoying the chance to just run around, we had her in a little puppy dog harness, and the boys just loved being outside all day. The end to a very fun and awesome day! Thanks Mom and Dad!
