More fun in the sun.

Today was yet another busy day for me and the kids. Some of the other Podiatry school wives decided to meet up at the park for 10:00. So, I loaded up my chunky monkeys and away we went. After a few hours of fun, we decided to call our hubbies and have them met us at Pizza Hut for some all you can eat pizza buffet. (On Wednesdays they have a big break from classes in the middle of the day). It worked out perfect. We had a great time, the pizza was really good, and Kaia was sooo excited to see her daddy. Of course she cried when we went our separate ways. The day was still young, it was only about 12:30, so we decided to have a mini pool party for the kids. Kaia had so much fun! I think she enjoyed the sidewalk chalk more than the water. She was coloring everything! (the picinic table, slide, swing.) I put Gatlin and Gabriel on a blanket in the shade and they just couldn't get enough of the grass! A couple of hours and no naps later...the meltdowns began so it was time to end our very fun, sunny day. Gatlin and Kaia fell asleep the last five minutes of our commute home and Gabriel caught a little cat nap while he was playing on the blanket. It was such a great day! The weather was perfect and the company was great!
